| Horticultural business and science is rapidly becoming internationalized. Many large companies are strongly encouraging students to broaden their horizons with an international experience as part of the undergraduate education. The Department of Horticultural Science supports students who desire this personal and educational growth opportunity. College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Science (CFANS) and the U of M offer extensive services to facilitate the planning and implementation of an international learning experience as easy as possible. There are many programs to choose from that do not cost more than U of M tuition, will not delay graduation, and are really interesting. The CFANS has an office of International Agricultural Programs that runs the MAST study/work abroad program. In addition the University supports the Global Campus that coordinates over 200 international study programs. One should be right for you!
